WTF?
I'm sorry to be so elusive. It's really not my usual style to be wrapped up in mystery. As I'm sure you know, I like to call a spade a spade. However I must be very careful not to upset anyone or indeed any organization, so with that in mind I still can't say, well, really, anything. But I am fine and all will be good in the end. More information when things are clearer. Meanwhile, have a listen to some podcasts below or subscribe with iTunes.

Not sure what happened at Bob, but the show isn't the same without you. Frankly, I've been leaning towards Satellite Radio only, and this will be the final nail in the coffin for me and local radio. Perhaps CFRA for local news and traffic, but that's about it.

I certainly miss having you on the Radio. You were a welcome fresh perspective and whether it was the original Studio 93 or the morning show I enjoyed your presence in my day. I had expressed my opinion to BobFM last week. The new show this morning was as bland and estrogen dominated that I considered listening to an all new channel. Thankfully I will get to enjoy your shows in the future, whether through the Internet or hopefully local radio.

Really miss you Vinny. I never laughed so hard driving into work as when I listened to you. Just don't know how much I will now listen to it.
I was listening to BOB FM this morning and said to my husband "where the heck has Vinnie gone". Sandy can't do it all, the new person, even though I am sure is a nice guy, is BORING! We miss you Vinnie!!! and I for one am done listening to BOB FM because you aren't on it anymore. I don't know what happened and I am sorry that you aren't around to give me the morning laughs but I sure as heck am going to let the higher powers at BOB FM know they have lost a devoted listener.

I miss hearing you on the radio and hope to hear an update as to when and where to hear you next. Just wanted to say thanks for making radio something great to listen to, not just something to have on to while away the commute, or usher in the workday. Best wishes for success upon success.

Thank you for posting a little update so that Ottawa knows you are not tied up in some creepy cougar's basement. I am one of the many, many people who miss your zaniness. I happen to love the rest of the crew, but I have to agree with the others--the morning show is now too boring. I wish you the best, wherever you land. Just stay away from creepy cougars and I'm sure you will be fine.

OK, this is just plain silly. In the two years I've been living in Ottawa, you were the only entertaining and capable presence at BOB. Your banter with Mel was the funniest thing on the radio, especially with that "getting to know you through philosophy" feature. Sandy is useless, that bossman person is BOOOOOOORING and the show is just lame. Can't wait for you to resurface on the air somewhere!

I hope this is the contractual cooling off period between you announcing you have another job (say at Boom) and you going there, rather than the period after you've been let go.

Well, I can only imagine this was your decision, a better opportunity for you (maybe TV?!). Bob would never have let you go!

I'm one of the many who find the new morning show soooo boring. Sorry bossman, you sound like a nice guy, but you put me to sleep. Vinney, you are the only radio personality worth listening to. Vinney, I have enjoyed listening to your banter with Mel, Sandy and Hammer. You were a refreshing change to the station. BOB has a habit of changing radio personalities more often than some people change their underwear. I've noticed a pattern beginning way back when with Kevin McGowan. Hosts leave but no explanation is ever given. Let me say you will be missed and I certainly hope BOB realizes before it's too late that you are a host that can not be replaced easily. The only reason I listened to Bob FM at night was that I loved listening to you, and when they put you on in the morning....I love listening to Sandy.....well I thought they had combined the best of all worlds!!! The combo was great! Unfortunately, short lived. Sorry to hear that you are not there...and not sure how Bob is going to make this right!!!!

Ok, since you can't say anything that must mean lawyers are involved which means that some ridiculous executive must have his knickers on a knot over something. Did you say "bangers and mash" on the air and not give the appropriate disclaimer? BOB just isn't the same without you. I agree a big WTF! I really enjoyed your Never Hour on Friday nights...loved the vibe and the new music to go and look into. After you switched to mornings and I could always count on many smiles and laughs throughout the morning...great way to start my day. I hope to hear you back on radio soon.

As a fellow Brit living in Ottawa, I can honestly say that local radio here is so dull and boring, with DJs (with stupid pseudo-names) stuck in time-warps from the eighties. They simply weren't and still aren't funny. Until you came along. You made the quaint dull boring Ottawa evening and morning radio listenable. I noticed the other presenters trying to be like you also... You raised the bar for sheer entaertainment value. What happened - were you a bit too exciting for them???
Missing you in the morning. Driving to work was never so much fun. Hope to listen to you again very soon!
Sorry to say I have resorted to listening to my IPod for the drive in to work. The morning show is just not the same without you. It's boring and it's almost as if everyone is affraid to say what they really want and the so called humour is just BLAH! I absolutely love your dry sarcastic sense of humour. I have to agree with everyone else I have been listening to Bob Fm for years and always liked the morning show. Stuntman stu was gerat and then when he left I didn't think they could replace him but, then when you started in April I loved it.I love Sandy but, without a funny sidekick the show is not the same at all!! Started to listen to Boom instead

I'm so disappointed to learn that you're no longer on the radio. You're the reason why I listened to Bob FM - since your evening show with retro new wave British music. The morning show is not the same without you - sorry but it's boring. You brought a lot of fun, a unique perspective and were a pleasure to listen to. Wishing you all the bsst in everything you do. I am beside myself. Absolutely gobsmacked. Followed your radio career (NOT in a creepy cougar way) since first hearing you on BOB, listened to every "stand in" show, and then you came to mornings, yay:) Have listend to BOB for years, way back to "Kevin & The Shark", but you made it your own. And we'd laugh, and we'd giggle, and I am beside myself with..............well, whatever one would be beside themselves with in this situation. Hurry up and take your holiday and get back on those airwaves Vinney, things are just not right in the world at present!!

The show sucks since you left. Hammer is no replacement at all. He has ZERO personality and no funny bone what-so-ever.
