News
Not that you have been besides yourselves with worry (hopefully you have had a sexual partner beside you) but I just wanted to let you know I am alive and well, and will do a podcast soon. Just popping off to England for a bit. Cheers, Vinney

020: The Never Hour (music you never get to hear). September Electronic Special
It's time to do a brand new one hour mix of current and past amazing electronic tracks. Three of my own remixes appear here. If you calculate the time it took to make those tracks, and then add all this lot and mix them up, this one hour of music took me about 100 hours to make. Yes, the Above & Beyond remix took 40 hours alone. I'm not moaning... it's a labour of musical love.

Ottawa
Bob FM listener to me: "Sorry things didn't work out for you in Ottawa".
Me: I got my dream job, improved the ratings in the evening show by doubling them, bought a house, met some great life-long friends, became a permanent resident of Canada, set up an successful incorporated design agency and travelled Peru, Australia and Africa. Yes, I got fired and it hurt like a slap in the face from a large-handed lunatic but screw it, I was going mental there anyway. Toronto next.
A week left in Ottawa. THANK YOU to Ottawa and every one of it's 900,000 residents for making life here so warm & special. And oddly, an extra special thank you to Bob FM for letting me in.

Toronto
Well I am here in Toronto and the city (I refuse to call it the big smoke because 1; it's a passé cliche for hicks and 2; you can't smoke on the patios here, so there is more smoke in the streets of Ottawa) is looking good. What the city planners were thinking when they decided to stick a highway next to the lake I am not sure - that will really set it off eh. Lets stick a slag heap on the nearest hill! Anywho, here I am and to assimilate into "Trrrrana" culture, last night I saw The Blue Jays play (that's baseball for those reading in Europe, baseball is like rounders for those in England - oh hell what do you care you've got enough sport right now).
Anyway, I am alive and well and the reconnaissance mission to start a new life has begun. I have to pop back to Ottawa for a couple of weeks in August to clear my house out and have a massive farewell shindig of some sort but alas, here we go. The wheels are turning, and it's going OK. Just got to get a place and a job. Ah fecking life.

The Never Hour (New music podcast)
I have been busy since travelling Africa a few months ago. I've been seeking a new life (which I still haven't quite sorted yet, to be honest) so I have been a distant young man, spending huge amounts of time looking at a screen in my Ottawa basement/dungeon. Meanwhile...
If you are interested in new music, you might want to pop over to theneverhour.com where I have put together a couple of podcasts of killer new music.
I'll be posting a non-music podcast here soon. Enjoy the sun x

Vinney White in Africa - 8ish Countries, 2ish Months (Part One)
From Kenya to Tanzania - I report from a campsite near a Massai village with my new friends. We talk about Massai culture. We visit a village full of excited kids surrounded by their mud huts - where a wife costs 10 cows. We are starting to bond well, and experience the madness of deepest Africa. I love this stuff.
